At BECA, the same research that consistently demonstrates that Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) interventions result in the best outcomes for children with autistic spectrum disorders is the same research on which our clinical practices are based.

BECA, a California regional center vendor and certified by the California Department of Education as a non-public agency, was established in 1999 to help meet the ongoing demand for accessible, high-quality, ABA services for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ages 12 months through 22 years, and their families. Our service areas currently include greater Los Angeles and Sacramento, with services soon becoming available to additional cities, states, and countries. Our mission is to help children become more fully integrated into their family, school and community environments. We pride ourselves in the unique comprehensiveness that our team of UCLA-trained directors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and clinical psychologists offer to our clients, who deserve no less than the most carefully designed intensive behavioral education services.

MODEL BIMBINGAN BELAJAR BEHAVIORISTIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract


Hampir setiap kelas SMA ditemukan beberapa siswa yang kurang kreativitasnya.untuk itu dioandang perlu mencari berbagai alternatif untuk mengembangkannya. Salah satu cara yang diduga bisa dilakukan untuk mengembangkan adalah dengan bimbingan belajar dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai behavioristik. Masalah bagaimanakah model bimbingan belajar behavioristik yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa. Tujuan umum penelitian yaitu menghasilkan rumusan model bimbingan belajar yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan uji coba terbatas terhadap siswa SMA negeri 2 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model bimbingan belajar behavioristik yang yang diuji cobakan secara terbatas terhadap siswa SMA Negeri 2 Semarang menunjukkan efektivitas bagi peningkatan kreativitas belajar siswa. Mendasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan kepada guru-guru, khususnya guru SMA perlu memperhatikan kemampuan atau potensi siswa dalam mengembangkan kreativitasnya, menghargai kreativitas anak, bersikap terbuka terhadap gagasan-gagasan baru, mengakui dan menghargai adanya perbedaan individual. Bagi anak diharapkan bisa ikut mengambil bagian dalam merencanakan pekerjaan sendiri dan pekerjaan kelompok.
